CAMBRIDGE, MA - Jan 18, 2017 - Lexumo, provider of the world’s first automated service for continuously monitoring Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded systems for critical open source vulnerabilities, today announced the appointment of Daniel McCall as Lexumo’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McCall is a high-technology veteran with over 30 years of experience and co-founder of multiple successful companies including Guardent (acquired by Verisign in 2004) and Virtual Computer (acquired by Citrix in 2012) where he served as President and CEO.

As a former recipient of the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, Mr. McCall is experienced in leading and transitioning technology companies to make them standouts within their sectors. He has also led large divisions of publicly traded companies including running the XenDesktop product line for Citrix following the acquisition of Virtual Computer and serving as Vice President at VeriSign, iCube/RazorFish and Shiva Corporation. Mr. McCall began his career in the mid-80’s, helping write Wang Laboratories first C compiler after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a degree in engineering and computer science.
