Joe SantaBarbara


Controller

Joe joined .406 as a Controller in 2019, supporting the team in all aspects of investing, portfolio reporting and the daily financial management functions. He brings seven years of private equity and venture capital experience, with a diversified background in finance and M&A.

Prior to joining .406, Joe was a Senior Manager at Summit Partners, a private equity firm focused on growth and venture stage healthcare, technology and consumer companies. He was actively involved in all of Summit’s finance functions, including fund management, portfolio company reporting and equity valuation.

Before Summit, Joe was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Life Science and Pharmaceutical group.

Joe holds an MBA from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in Accounting from Stonehill College. In addition, Joe is a CPA.
