Joe SantaBarbara joined .406 in 2019 and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He brings over a decade of experience in private equity and venture capital, with deep expertise in finance, M&A, and fund operations.
Before .406, Joe was a Senior Manager at Summit Partners, a growth equity firm focused on healthcare, technology, and consumer sectors. There, he led key financial initiatives, including fund management, portfolio company reporting, and equity valuation.
Earlier in his career, Joe was a Senior Associate at PwC, where he specialized in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector.
Joe holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Accounting from Stonehill College. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
