Reltio Hires Engineering Executive To Lead Product Innovation
- Lok will oversee Reltio’s engineering and operations teams, guiding product development and innovation.
- Key priorities in 2021 include increasing scalability, stability, and operational best practices to better serve current and future customers.
- Previously at Imperva, LogMeIn, Citrix, Intuit, and Yahoo, Lok brings 20+ years of software development leadership experience, including managing remote and distributed workforces, to the engineering team.
Lok has decades of experience managing product development and engineering teams at multinational corporations. He joins Reltio from Imperva, a cybersecurity company, where he led Global Product Development and was responsible for all engineering for AppSecurity and DataSecurity. Prior to Imperva, Lok was SVP of Engineering at LogMeIn, which he joined when the company acquired GetGo, a once wholly-owned subsidiary of Citrix that merged with LogMeIn in early 2017. Before Citrix, Lok was the VP of the Payment Solutions Division at Intuit. He earned an M.S. in Computer Engineering from USC and B.S. of Electrical Engineering at Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo.
James Lok, EVP of Global Engineering and Technical Operations at Reltio: “I’ve seen first-hand the challenges many organizations face with master data management. Reltio’s technology is unmatched at helping customers transform their business outcomes with unified, reliable, and real-time data to better understand and operate their businesses. In previous roles, I was responsible for creating data lakes, which can be time-consuming and disjointed for many organizations. Joining Reltio allows me the incredible opportunity to work at the center of the data universe and tackle this problem from the other side. I will work with Reltio’s customers to build a platform that delivers the data they need, when and where they need it, to increase revenue and customer lifetime value, cut costs, and improve operational efficiency and reduce risk by simplifying governance and compliance.”
Chris Hylen, CEO of Reltio: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with James for the past ten years, since our days at Intuit. He’s an incredible engineering leader, who helps organizations to scale and deliver innovative and quality products. When I joined Reltio as CEO, I recognized the massive market opportunity we are tackling and the engineering requirements that come with that. I knew James was the best person for the job. His strong leadership experience in software development and project management driving distributed organization make him a valuable addition to our team.”
