John Repko is a Global Business Leader and award-winning Chief Information Officer with the rare combination of broad technology expertise and experience as a Qualified Financial Expert (QFE).
As a serial Chief Information Officer for five public companies, he brings deep experience in digital transformations, Six Sigma, mergers and acquisitions integration, spinoffs, strategy, and finance. He has a broad understanding of global markets and international cultures, having worked extensively overseas and managed multicultural workforces.
John’s extensive Board and Governance experience includes being an Independent Board Member for the BioClinica (NASDAQ: BioC) Board and Audit Committee, a Member of the JCI Foundation Board, and serving as President of the Tyco Cares Foundation. He also is a Business Fellow and Professor at the Villanova University School of Business where his focus is Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity.
Currently, John serves as Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), the $56B global insurance and financial services firm. He previously held leadership roles at AIG, Johnson Controls (JCI), Tyco International, Covance, Inc., and General Electric. He began his career as a Senior Accountant with Ernst & Young.
John earned an MBA in Information Technology (cum laude) at Drexel University and a BS in Accounting (cum laude) at Villanova University. His many certifications include Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) – State of Pennsylvania, Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt – General Electric Company and Novell (ECNE) Enterprise Certified Netware Engineer. He has been recognized as Insurance CIO Outlook’s Top 10 Life Insurance CIOs in 2023, a CIO Hall of Fame Inductee in 2018, one of the Top 25 CIOs in Financial Services and recipient of the HMG Global Leadership Institute Award in 2023.
