Veracode Joins Amazon Web Services Solution Providers Program

Veracode, a global provider of independent cloud-based application intelligence and security verification services has chosen to join the select group of organizations and become a member of The AWS Solution Providers Program.

In a press release, Pamela Cyr, senior vice president of business development and strategic alliances at Veracode spoke of the benefits that would accrue and said, “Joining the AWS Solution Providers Program provides our customers with the flexibility to leverage both our private cloud as well as the elastic computing capability offered by Amazon.”

The AWS Solution Providers Program is designed to support organizations' operational and IT requirements while catering to their unique needs during the transition to a cloud computing environment.

In addition, the program is also expected to broaden businesses' suite of offerings and expand their customer base, while driving new revenue streams.

As an AWS Solution Provider, Veracode will be well positioned to offer its customers performance driven services and innovative solutions and also further its reach in the market by allowing AWS customers to leverage the power of Veracode private cloud platform for software security services.

In addition, Cyr stated that Veracode's ability to deliver scalable, policy-driven application risk management programs and software security services in the cloud and to ensure compliance coverage for industry regulations would empower organizations around the world.

In other news, Veracode announced the availability of a sample RFP question set to assist organizations in their application security scanning technology selection.

Developed for enterprise IT managers, risk management, CISOs or anyone with responsibility for application security within an enterprise, the free tool serves as a guide for developing and writing a comprehensive RFP to ensure that the right questions are asked during the decision-making process.
