Opportunity Manor is a leading non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with disabilities at 17 different sites across the greater St. Cloud, Minnesota area.

The WellAWARE Systems’ technology will be implemented in Opportunity Manor homes in order to provide meaningful wellness trending and behavioral data to caregivers regarding their client’s daily activities. In order to utilize the WellAWARE technology, Opportunity Manor is in the process of submitting a grant application for funding and is hopeful to have confirmation of the funds within the next few months.
By outfitting Opportunity Manor homes with WellAWARE’s monitoring technology, Opportunity Manor caregivers will be able to monitor the behavior of each client while encouraging independence. The overall status of each client can be reviewed via the secure WellAWARE Web site. This ability to passively monitor individuals’ health and activity enables caregivers to proactively identify and address existing or developing health conditions, while encouraging the clients’ to live autonomously and safely. The effective use of WellAWARE has repeatedly demonstrated improvement in patient wellness while at the same time reducing overall cost of care.
